Montezuma do
Mirante - The 1st. Lusitano in Australia

Our Dressage boy finally arrived
in Bowral
"Montezuma has arrived at
Owl's Wood at last.
He is just magnificent! A real man. Many lookers yesterday of
course and they were all taken by the obvious power he has.
We celebrated the safe arrival and gave a toast to you.
Warmest thoughts,
Katharine Olsen

Montezuma in the Ribbons
Montezuma do Mirante made a successful debut at the 2001 Winter
Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida at Third Level with
his trainer Silke Rembacz - where he stood out as the only
Lusitano competing. The pair recently finished third scoring 63.9
at the Westchester Fairfield Dressage Show, a CDI competition in
Port Jarvis, New York. "It's fun to bring him out and prove him
against competition because he's usually the only Lusitano out
there," says Silke.

WEF Debut for Montezuma Interagro
Montezuma
Interagro, a Lusitano stallion in training with Grand Prix
dressage rider,
Silke Rembacz,
made his debut at the Winter Equestrian Festival with impressive
results.
"He
had a score of 65.6," said Silke who has worked with the horse
for just over a year now. "That's really good." Montezuma
was showing for the first time at 3rd Level in West Palm Beach.
Meanwhile, his training is coming along nicely as Silke works
on him with the help of Michelle Gibson.
"He's
going really well," Silke said. "His work mentality is super.
He tries hard every day. He's starting his changes and he
has a really good piaffe, passage and pirouette. I have had
a lot of nice comments on his gaits and extensions when showing."
