50% Andrade/50% Veiga

Regarded as probably the best son of famous Novilheiro (MV) Veiga/Andrade, he is a second generation stallion, meaning that he inherited from his sire and dam these two basic bloodlines of the breed. His sire Novilheiro (MV) needs no introductory remarks, as he is one of the most famous PSL horses of all times, having competed on the European jumping circuit where he became Champion of England and also the leader of the European ranking of top paid horses in official competitions. Novilheiro is son of Firme (SA) on Guerrita (MV), the latter a daughter of famous Toleirona (MV). LEGENDÁRIO DO MIRANTE’s dam, the mare Ulisséia (RC) is daughter of Palpite (MV) on Tabanca (SA) and was Imported Mares’ Champion in Brazil (89) and Gold Medal in Lisbon (84). Such a fabulous pedigree is still consistently shown by the exceptional offspring that Legendário has been producing, as he passes on all the excellence of his ancestors in full. During the course given by Portuguese Stud Book representatives to Brazilian technicians in 1997, Legendário was shown as a model of the ideal morphology and functionality demanded at the PSL. He now has a vast number of descendants in Brazil, including notable sons like Profano Interagro and Quilate Interagro, both among Interagro’s official stallions. Several of his sons and daughters have been exported to the US.
