Young stallion, whose first offspring belongs to the generation V of which two young fillies have already won Gold Medals at the Brazilian Nationals. Along with his paternal brothers, Quantum Interagro and Ofensor MV, Quixote is part of the trio of outstanding sons of the fabulous Danúbio MV, used by Interagro to inject the most desirable characteristics transmitted by this excellent heritage. The trio, therefore, has a very special role in the development of the Interagro Horse. By their maternal side, Quixote and Quantum Interagro are practically half-brothers; their dams, Dançarina RC and Escolhida RC respectively, are full-sisters, daughters of Venturoso III MV with Xinesa RC. Both Danúbio MV and Venturoso III MV have Oferta MV as their dam, thus introducing an important consanguinity on this outstanding young stallion. Quixote’s grandmother, Xinesa RC is a daughter of Pandeireta MP one of the greatest brood mares in the Lusitano breed. Like his brothers, Quixote displays extraordinary morphologic qualities, a striking beauty, arrogance and magnificent gaits, combined with excellent temperament and a fantastic pedigree. Quixote’s superior qualities made him elected as one of Interagro’s most important stallions. The already large experience acquired with the injection of the Quina blood into the offspring of Danúbio MV and vice-versa, has opened a rich and successful venue for the breeding of some of the most extraordinary animals for the dressage arena. These horses and mares have consistently outperformed the other families in all the essential points demanded by the stringent selection process carried on by Interagro and therefore, will, most certainly, grow in numbers in the very select group if Interagro brood-mares. Notwithstanding his young age, Quixote already has an offspring of some 50 individuals. 15 more will be born in the 2005/2006 season and about 30 mares will be covered by Quixote in this same season, practically doubling his offspring in the next two years.
