Tuim (CN)
Imported by Interagro in 1994, by
special courtesy of the Coudelaria Nacional (CN) of the
Portuguese Government, Tuim CN was before that, one of the main
official stallions of that government breeding establishment and
also served in various private Portuguese Lusitano under the
auspices of the CN stallion leasing program, among them,
Oliveira e Sousa, where he sired Estupendo OS, sold at record
price in the Top-Interagro Sales in 1995. Tuim was an
outstanding stallion for many reasons: for his pedigree, for the
number of his show winning offspring, by his morphological
qualities which earned him 81 points at revision, for his
athletic power winning several jumping prizes, his temperament
and shinning presence. Tuim’s sire, Innato DLR of the best
Cartujana origin, had several sons as official stallions in some
of the best Spanish and Portuguese breeders. Tuim’s dam,
Maquineta CN is twice granddaughter of Hucharia CN, one of the
‘head of lineage’ of the Lusitano breed.
